This support blog will highlight the existing and new features that have been updated/launched on this round of FitHive updates.
A heavily requested update, you now have the option to add multiple scores/leaderboards and arbitrary splits (scaled, RX, RX+, etc) to each workout you post through Fitness >> Post Workout. Please checkout the How to Post Workouts support article to learn more.
This update allows you to reposition and adjust the aspect ratio for images added to the Gallery widget on a web page. To explore this new update, go to Website >> Manage Web Pages >> select Add Page >> select + Section >> select Gallery >> then review the new editing options in the left-hand menu (example below).
For those that use Stripe for payment reconciliation, this new update syncs the payment metadata for transactions processed through your Hive to the corresponding payment details in your Stripe account.
We've added the option to create Lifetime memberships. Offering a lifetime gym membership provides customers with a long-term commitment, fostering loyalty and encouraging regular attendance by eliminating the need for recurring membership renewals. It also offers a cost-saving incentive for members, as they can lock in the current rate for the duration of their lifetime, avoiding potential future price increases.
The lifetime setting can be applied to the Membership Period, which you would select if the membership is to be paid in full upfront, or to the Terminate/End Period, which you would select if you want the membership to auto-renew for the duration of the member's time at your gym. For example, if you offer a lifetime membership with an upfront fee of $2,500, you would set the rate to $12,500 and the Membership Period to Lifetime, which will keep the membership active for the member's entire duration at your gym.
Now let's say you want to offer a lifetime membership that locks in a $150/month rate for the duration of their time at your gym. You would set the rate to $150, the Membership Period to monthly, and Terminate/End Date to Lifetime.
Please note that when you select the Lifetime as the duration for either of the Memberhip Period or Terminate Date, that the Months and Days fields should be set to 0.
This small update was added to help improve the workflow of adding/editing WOD Calendars in your Hive. Now, when you navigate to Fitness >> Post Workouts >> Manage Calendars >> and add/edit a WOD calendar, you will be redirected to the corresponding workout calendar itself (where you post the workouts to) once you save your changes.
This update will exclude ineligible staff from your payroll report. If a staff is removed or deactivated but was not explicitly removed from payroll, the system will check if they are owed any amounts in that period - then if they are not owed any amounts they will not be included on the payroll report and will be disabled for future payroll.
Fixed a bug that was excluding the Class Name on the Class Waitlist Automation.
